It does seem that Eric has taken some well deserved time off this last year, but his fans are more than ready for his CD/DVD to come out. I know that it takes alot of work to keep the site current, but maybe we need to let her know how much we appreciate it. comment:	I agree with the post below. I don't want to see my biggest influence to get sick from smoking. I saw Eric for my first time in Pordenone, Italy opening for Steve Vai. After that night, I bought a resonator guitar and a his slide. I've been playing slide ever since. It was awful cool of Eric to go to the back of the venue and sign stuff. I was leaving, and no one was near him. I was shocked. I walked up to Eric and he was so nice. Blues is Life! Keep on sliding!

comment:	Four friends of mine just went to see Eric in St. Louis with Steve Vai, I missed out! They turned me onto him after they got back home in central IL. UNBELIEVABLE! That's all I can say. Blues is blood... and this dude bleeds deeply. I hope I get the chance to meet him in Fort Madison, IA at the Blues Festival there. You have to "feel" true rooted blues and I have been searching for this holy grail for a long, long time. Much appreciation is given to Mr. Eric Sardinas and his dobro delta sound. comment:	I had never heard of Eric Sardinas until a couple of weeks ago. Then, just having a look to a week-end magazine I saw a picture of the guy in question and a briefing announcing a 4-nights round of gigs in a small spot in Barcelona (Spain)... I thought to myself that was looking great... some Delta Blues, some rock'n'roll and a Dobro... So I convinced a few friends and there we went... Electric would be the key word... In just a couple of hours, the guys got our respect, our appreciation, our admiration and, probably, our devoted fidelity from now on... Astonishing... Playing slide guitar is not an easy thing, and I know what I'm talking about... Playing it the way Mr. Sardinas does might take you several lives of hard rehearsing... Respect tradition, respect perfection... And my respect to the band... Al.
